Job Responsibilities

1. Design, plan, and implement network solutions based on client needs and industry best practices.
2. Hands on, configure and maintain enterprise level network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
3. Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve network issues.
4. Provide technical support for network-related incidents and problems.
5. Perform periodically preventive maintenance for network & security equipment.
6. Troubleshoot network related problems and work with different teams to resolve it quickly.
7. Monitor and analyse email traffic for phishing, malware and unauthorized access attempts, ensuring timely incident response and implementing policies to enhance email security.
8. Provide and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations.
9. Generate periodical reports on network performance, security, and utilization.
10. Lead network infrastructure projects from beginning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project objectives.
11. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to network solutions.
12. Perform other related duties assigned from time to time, in alignment with company’s goals and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or a related field in network computing/communication.
2. At least five (5) years of hands-on network experience configuring routing protocols, switching, wireless, and firewall configuration in medium/large networks.
3. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, WLAN, NAC, SDWAN).
4. Experience with enterprise-level products including but not limited to: Aruba Networks, Cisco Systems, Huawei, H3C, Fortinet, Sophos, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, and Ruckus Networks.
5. Experience and knowledge implementing security network devices in firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco), APT, IPS/IDS, anti-DDOS solutions, and endpoint security.
6. Proven expertise in configuring and managing email security platforms and analysing email logs to detect and mitigate threats effectively.
7. Certifications in any networking discipline such as CCNP/HCNP & security are highly desirable.
8. Skill in network security, including firewall configurations and intrusion prevention systems.
9. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
10. Ability to standby and work during non-working hours and outstation when required.
