Job Responsibilities:

• The Global IT Infrastructure Network Engineer is accountable for ensuring availability of network services for NTT Data Business Solutions.
• Administer the local area networks (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) at NTT DATA Business Solutions sites including configuration, consolidating, hardware upgrades, monitoring performance and logs collection.
• Setup, configure and administer the switches, routers and firewall at NTT DATA Business Solutions sites.
• Design, setup, configure and administer enterprise LAN/WAN, switching and routing environments to ensure safe and smooth network operation.
• Responsible for providing trend analysis to the Management team.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network health, ensuring traffic volumes are within network capacity.
• Ensure that documentation is maintained and kept up to date.
• Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications sessions.
• Carry out any other duties within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
• Adhere to company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology.
• Min 4+ years of experience in network engineering and network administration in data center environment.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP).
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and common networking terms.
• Proven experience of maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting enterprise LAN’s with Cisco switches and routers.
• Proven experience of maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting firewalls (FortiGate preferred).
• Proven experience/knowledge in Network Security and network routing protocols.
• Able to perform physical tasks in network scope inside the data center environment.
• Strong English language – Written and Verbal.
• Able to travel when/if required.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
