Job Description
- Provides 24/7 technical support to customers by remote or onsite support.
- Manages the implementation of projects closed by the field sales team.
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, project managers, and service resources by communicating project status and success metrics.
- Monitors customer support for technical solutions implemented and alerts the field sales to potential customer satisfaction threats or competitor activity.
- Creates documentation and technical knowledge transfer to customers.
- Provides expert advice on technical proof-of-concepts evaluation.
- Maintains knowledge of competitive products as well as complementary solutions.
- Works collaboratively with the field sales, project management, engineering, and support teams.
- Provides coaching and professional development to team members in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
- Develops and maintains relationships with prospects, customers, and partners.
- Attends in-person meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose hardware problems.
- Responds to customer inquiries and assists in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.
- Follows standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Researches, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and identifies solutions to resolve system issues.
- Provides prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
- Preferably someone with at least 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Preferably someone with knowledge in using any of the products including but not limited to F5 network products, Cisco ACI, Huawei Network, Peplink, Gigamon, SolarWinds, Cisco Wireless and Firewall.
