JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Program & Project Management: Drive end-to-end project management for departmental initiatives spanning short-term and long-term scheduling, route planning, slot management, inventory transitions, and operational scheduling enhancements. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, KPIs, and stakeholder communication frameworks. Ensure project delivery is aligned with commercial, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as a central coordination point between Scheduling, Revenue Management, OCC, Government Relations, Airport Partnerships, Finance, Engineering, Fleet, and other stakeholders. Ensure seamless communication, manage expectations, and provide project updates to the Head of Department and senior leadership. Facilitate the preparation of materials and briefings for internal governance (e.g., P&L reviews, route committees) and external meetings (e.g., airport or regulatory engagements).
  • Strategic Implementation: Support the annual budget schedule development by coordinating across teams to align flight schedules with company-wide financial and strategic goals. Track execution of the budgeted network, assist in identifying deviations, and support corrective actions with data-driven insights. Project-manage route evaluations and scheduling alignment for new routes, aircraft deployment changes, and network adjustments.
  • Operational Coordination: Manage initiatives involving aircraft routing, contingency planning, special event schedules, and schedule optimization to ensure operational feasibility. Lead the implementation of last-minute changes such as fleet swaps, charter planning, or holiday/event-driven network changes. Coordinate post-implementation reviews to identify gaps and improvement areas.
  • Data & Performance Monitoring: Work with analysts and network planners to track market trends, competitor activity, route profitability, and slot performance. Maintain dashboards and project trackers that enable visibility across key performance indicators and progress of strategic initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in aviation-related fields, engineering, statistics, economics, or other equivalent qualification. Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in aviation, consulting, or operational strategy.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects with measurable impact.
  • Strong understanding of airline scheduling, route planning, or commercial aviation is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets and Slides.
