Network Engineer Specialist/Team Lead

Job Description:

Administer day to day operations to include Standard VLAN Changes, standard firewall/ACL changes, resolving trouble tickets, submitting change requests, monitoring circuit and equipment status, and turning up/turning down new client virtual or physical connections, based on business requirements. The candidate chosen for this position would have most or all of the following technical skillsets:

1. Ability to administer, maintain, configure and implement best practice network architecture that is highly available, modular, flexible, and scalable and meets organizational requirements for growth, stability and security.
2. Configure and apply ACLs based on network filtering requirements.
3. Configure WebSecurity including security policies, whitelisting the URLs.
4. Monitor and Strengthen the Network Security (DDos, IPS/IDS and Sandboxing).
5. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues with Cisco and Industry standard protocols.
6. Implement, establish and optimize wireless networks, ISE including policy enforcement, profiling services.
7. Configure advanced routing and switching technologies.
8. Document design specifications, diagrams, installation instructions, and other records.
9. Work in a highly collaborative team environment to develop high quality solutions and resolve infrastructure outages as quickly as possible.
10. Develop appropriate Cisco IOS configurations in order to adhere to a detailed network system design.
11. Project based work to further stabilize, improve, and innovate our existing environment.
12. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.

Requirements:

1. Should have the capabilities to implement, administer, maintain and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Proxy and Controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.
2. Experience in monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability as per SLA.
3. Experience in Configuring, installing & troubleshooting various Cisco devices which includes router, Switches, Wireless, Nexus switch & Firewall.
4. Should have worked on P2P and MPLS links.
5. Should have knowledge on WebSecurity Policy (PaloAlto, etc).
6. Should have experience in VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
7. Should have strong knowledge & experience on routing Switching protocols & Security (Cisco ASA) (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, VLAN, NAT, ACL etc.).
8. Should have knowledge on Citrix NetScaler.
9. Should have knowledge on Wireless.
10. Should have knowledge on VOIP, QOS and traffic shaping.
11. Should work in Flexible shift and should provide support for US timezone.
12. Minimum CCNA/CCNP or higher.
