NDT Technician

• Non-Destructive Test certificate is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in NDT techniques and methods. Experience with specific NDT methods such as Eddy Current, Penetrant, Radiography, and Ultrasonic testing is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written English.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities:

Perform NDT Inspections: Conduct inspections using methods such as Eddy Current Testing (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiography Testing (RT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to detect defects/flaws in blades/vanes.

Documentation and Reporting: Record test results and document findings accurately.

Interpretation of Results: Analyze test results and interpret data to identify and assess defects. Provide recommendations for further action or repairs based on findings.

Compliance: Ensure all testing activities are conducted in compliance with relevant work instructions.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly. Perform routine checks and calibrations as needed.

Training and Development: Stay updated on advancements in NDT technologies and methods. Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required.

Safety: Comply and support Environmental Health & Safety policies, rules, and regulations at all times.
