National Contract Logistics Distribution Manager

You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence.

Your Role

Your primary objective will be to manage the entire domestic distribution network in accordance with the overall strategic plan with a high focus on gaining + retaining customers.

Your Responsibilities

You will do this by leading your team along with working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

• To manage performance in order to achieve agreed client service levels + costs within budgetary requirements
• To ensure a safe a+ compliant environment in line with both internal standards + external regulations.
• To analyze our transport network + implement strategic strategies to create efficiencies + sustainability.
• To lead process implementation to ensure a continuous improvement culture is established + maintained.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution management within the contract logistics or warehousing industry.
• Proven track record of managing distribution operations and achieving performance targets.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
• Willingness to travel for business-related activities.
