About the Role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive the recruitment process across various functions within the organization. This includes sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for roles. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong recruitment and talent acquisition expertise, a keen understanding of the healthcare industry, and experience recruiting for roles with the knowledge of medical services.

This role is based in Malaysia and reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and People Partners to gain a deep understanding of our organizational structure, priorities, and key drivers, enabling you to deliver impactful recruitment outcomes.
  • Act as a consultative partner to hiring managers, independently conducting market research, talent mapping, sourcing, candidate assessment, selection, and offer management to attract top, diverse candidates in a cost-effective manner.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to business leaders, providing strategic guidance on talent acquisition and hiring strategies for roles across Southeast Asia.
  • Build and nurture a strong talent pipeline through partnerships with universities, companies, and relevant industry networks within the tech startup and healthcare sectors.
  • Lead and implement innovative projects within the Talent Acquisition team to improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as required to support broader Talent Acquisition initiatives and team objectives.

About you:

  • Minimum of 1 year of full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing and hiring for a variety of roles in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare and medical services roles, such as clinic assistants, nurses, or similar would be an added advantage.
  • Proven success in hiring at all levels, from entry/junior roles to manager positions, with a focus on roles across Southeast Asia.
  • Ability to independently deliver results in a start-up, high-growth environment, with excellent skills in managing multiple roles and candidates simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and high ethical standards.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to step out of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment; comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn as we expand into new areas.
  • A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
