The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire logistics operations, ensuring that goods are transported and stored efficiently, cost-effectively, and according to schedule. This role includes managing the logistics team, coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments, and continuously improving processes to meet the company's goals for delivery performance, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Oversee warehouse operations activities.
Establish customer rapport and improve service level by having progressive meetings with customers with service improvement objectives.
Resolve all service level issues in a timely manner and maintain strong customer relationships.
Maintain performance measurement (KPI) for customer & internal activities to achieve customer SLA and expectations.
Ensure continuous improvement and corrective & preventive actions for issues.
Ensure Logistics Manager/Shift Manager carry out their respective roles and responsibilities according to JD.
Ensure SOP compliance for all internal and external required processes.
Ensure warehouse and staff comply with company policy (safety, quality, etc.).
Submit management reports and attend management meetings.
Gemba warehouse floor to ensure continuous improvement is applied.
Lead governance, reporting, and review frameworks to provide a holistic view of all operational integration project activities.
Take up any assignments given by the Superior.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Diploma/Degree Holder in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in logistics or supply chain management in supervision or management of logistics or related field.
Knowledge of warehouse functions, warehouse layout, international logistics, transport, customs, or trade department/function.
Good analytical skills in costing, P&L, and data analysis on processes and systems.
Good troubleshooting skills to establish root causes and provide effective solutions.
A self-starter, demonstrating a track record of high-performance work without immediate management supervision.
Proven experience in running effective teams and ability to work with core team members and cross-functional teams in a matrix-managed environment.
Able to focus on key deliverables to prioritize results.
