Murex BO and Finance Business Analyst

The Murex BO and Finance Business Analyst will assist in delivering this programme by:

1. Expected to have good understanding of main functional & technical components of the MX.3 workflows module and its capabilities.
2. Very good experience and knowledge about trade attributes and their workflows for different products and their trade life cycles.
3. Pre-trade sequences and post-trade workflows based on new trades and market operations.
4. Finance and accounting modules.
5. Different trade events and their processes.
6. Interaction between workflows.
7. Event management.
8. Trade Repository.
9. Carry out the Analysis of the issues raised by the client, classify them appropriately as bug/enhancement, suggest appropriate resolution action and ensure delivery of the same.
10. Interacting with client users to gather business requirements for identified enhancements or amendments.
11. Interacting with client relationship manager to ensure timely resolution of issues or quality delivery of the requisite functionality.
12. Interact with business users to impart training on various functionalities of Murex system and financial products.
13. Agile, Jira and Confluence working experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Hands on experience in migration activities of a front to back programme in Banking or large corporate treasury.
2. Experience in Murex 3.1 as BO and Finance Business Analyst with more than 5 years of experience is required.
3. Good understanding and working experience of designing and implementing building blocks:

• Accounting rules, events and general ledgers.
• Automatic and Manual Tasks.
• Connections between workflows.
• Amendment agent for event management.
• Post-Trade Workflow Processing.
• Understanding Trade workflow.
• PL VaR & Live Book.
• Product knowledge – FXO, IRD, FX cash, MM, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, credit derivatives and OTC Derivatives.
• Good understanding of Valuation & MTM calculations.
• Understanding of Market Data sources, cleansing and its impact to P&L.
• Work experience in migration of Mx 2.11 to Mx3.1 for leading financial institution would be desired.

Preferred

1. Experience on Pricing, P&L, Market data and Financial static data.
2. Exposure on GOM definition, Datamart and MXML development.
3. Query: SQL/PLSQL/Hibernate SQL.
4. Exposure to Messaging: XML/FPML.
5. Exposure to Unix/Shell Scripting.
6. Displays personal authority, integrity and ethics.
