Multimedia Designer

Company Overview

We are partnering with pioneers in the gaming industry, specializing in game development, game publishing, and gaming-related marketing.

Job Description:

• Conceptualise, plan, and execute the productions of multimedia content, such as social media graphics, animations, videos, and presentation decks.
• Design and develop visual assets such as icons, logos, and branding elements for web applications.
• Coordinate various projects related to multimedia technologies development, including visualisation and imaging projects, application design, and implementation.
• Assist in designing, editing, and integrating digital content, graphics, animation, photography, illustrations, and other multimedia visualisation and imaging products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and product managers, to develop and implement design solutions.
• Design and develop content style and layout.
• Create proofs, prototypes, mock-ups, wireframes, user journey maps, and other visual aids.
• Create presentation and communication templates for promotional, developmental, and administrative needs.
• Tell compelling stories through graphics and its products & services in line with the overall brand development strategy and core values.
• Handle the design from concept to final artwork.
• Deliver creatives for campaigns and projects in a timely manner according to brand and visual guidelines.
• Work with cross-department colleagues for any additional ad hoc design tasks.

Requirements to Succeed:

• A minimum diploma or above in multimedia design or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven working experience as a multimedia specialist or similar role in any industry.
• Solid experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Experience with 3D modeling and animation software, such as Blender or Maya, is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Social media native – Ability to keep up with the latest design trends on social media.
• A good aesthetic eye and stays up to date with gaming contemporary art, graphic, and advertising trends.
• Strong visual sense, creativity, and the ability to communicate complex ideas through visual mediums effectively.
• Prior experience in startups/creative agencies is a plus; may require overtime work or handling rushing timelines sometimes.
• Strong interest in gaming, blockchain, NFT, and/or the crypto industry.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); PowerPoint presentation design skills are preferred.
• Preferred candidates can speak and write in Mandarin and English.
• Ability to provide a lot of creative design ideas to the Marketing Head.
