Multimedia Design Lecturer, Faculty of Art and Design

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Multimedia Design Lecturer to join our faculty team. The ideal candidate will have strong background in multimedia design, with expertise in area such as graphic design, animation, video production, and interactive media.

Requirements

• Candidate shall possess at least aMaster’s degree or PhDin multimedia design, graphic design, digital media or a related field.
• Proven experience in multimedia design, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, animation, video production, and/or interactive media.
• Master holder with at least 2 years of teaching experience is welcome to apply.
• Preferably candidates with relevant teaching experience at Undergraduate NS Postgraduate level.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Maya, and/or other multimedia design tools.
• Excellent Interpersonal skill, ability to work collaboratively, manage time and work to strict deadlines.
• English and Chinese proficiency.

Responsibility

Educating and Research

• Undertake teaching related duties such as preparation of teaching materials, conducting an interactive lecture and tutorial class as well as student consultation, assessment, and other teaching related jobs.
• Actively participate in scholarly activities such as undertaking research, and journal publications as well as developing relevant materials in appropriate formats for the programmes.

Administration

• Coordinating,attending meetings and participating in events and working groups.
• MQA document preparation.
• Other ad-hoc jobs as assigned by the Management.
