MGR, AFC Process & Governance Specialist

The Compliance function is a strategic partner and a trusted business enabler to the Board and senior management. We ensure that the Group continuously fulfills its regulatory obligations in today’s tight and dynamic regulatory landscape.

This position reports directly to the Team Lead, Process and Governance, AFC Investigations & Intelligence. The incumbent's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform quality assurance review on closed alerts and cases, assessing the quality of the investigation and resulting documentation in line with process and procedure, also to determine key issues, gaps and potential risks.
• Effective communication with analysts on errors and follow up rectification.
• Conduct Training/QA sharing sessions and highlight significant issues, gaps and typologies.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or professional qualification from a recognized University.
• At least 3-5 years of overall experience in financial crime compliance (fraud/sanctions/anti-money laundering) or intelligence experience, with past experience in conducting Quality Assurance in Transaction Monitoring preferred.
• Current knowledge of AML/CFT, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and other Regulatory Compliance-related requirements and updates.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint or other presentation software.
• Experience with Data Analytic tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI, Hue) is an added advantage.
• Aware of AML/CFT, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption or Regulatory Compliance landscape and interested in learning about industry compliance trends.
• Possess an inquisitive mindset and a willingness to learn new things.
• Good writing skills and ability to present issues and propose resolution approaches to management.
