About the role

Dyamed Biotech, established in 1998, is a leading distributor of innovative skin and wound care medical devices to hospitals and pharmacies in Malaysia and the region. This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Medical Representative (MR) in Central (KL and Selangor) within the dynamic and innovative regional team at Dyamed Biotech Sdn Bhd.

As a Medical Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our range of innovative and antimicrobial wound care, burns, and skincare products to healthcare professionals including wound care specialists, orthopedic surgeons, general surgeons, plastic surgeons, ENT surgeons, and pharmacists in hospitals and pharmacies across Malaysia. This full-time role offers the opportunity to bring new and better treatment to patients requiring burn and wound care treatment.

You will build strong relationships with clients while contributing to the growth and success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Engage with existing and potential customers, including government and private hospitals, government clinics, specialists across various disciplines, and pharmacies.
• Acquire deep functional knowledge of our medical devices and communicate the features and benefits of products to healthcare providers (HCPs).
• Provide and monitor sampling of our medical devices to HCPs.
• Maintain a detailed record and follow up with customer interactions and sales activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Organize and participate in continuous medical education, workshops, and exhibitions.
• Provide feedback and insights to the product development team to enhance Dyamed's offerings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in a sales or customer-facing role within the healthcare industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Prior working experience in the healthcare industry, pharmacy, or medical device distribution would be an advantage.
• Proactive and strong customer relationship management skills to effectively handle client inquiries and concerns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
