The Opportunity

REACH is seeking a dynamic and passionate Media and Communication Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies to raise awareness of climate change and health issues, promote the REACH consortium’s activities, and engage stakeholders across the region.

The Media and Communication Officer will be responsible for creating and managing visually appealing content for social media, websites, and other digital platforms, while ensuring consistent and impactful messaging (in English and one or more of the other languages spoken in Malaysia). This role will involve coordinating media relations, producing multimedia and infographic content, and supporting the dissemination of research findings. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, communication, and digital media skills, with a keen interest in climate change, health, and community engagement.

Reporting line: The position reports to the Hub Director under routine supervision.
