Job description
Mechanical Staff Engineer/Mechanical Engineer (Senior/Junior)
Responsible for full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture, and implementations).
- Must be proficient in Cero PRO-E and other simulation tools.
- Optimize mechanical solutions to improve the performance of the product.
- Perform mechanical simulations and implement solutions onto final form-fit products.
- Perform subsystem or module design, simulation, and verification to achieve required specifications.
- Lead testing and qualification test activities to meet product specifications and compliance regulations.
- Participate in system design discussions to ensure the design and implementation meet product requirements.
- Conduct experiments/simulations methodically, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Evaluate final product’s overall performance and reliability.
- Able to estimate budget and set the scope of the projects.
- Attend meetings with customers and design teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering with 5 years of experience in design and development for wired/wireless audio products.
- Experience in simulations and analyzing test data.
- Materials selection and BOM generation.
- Generate technical reports to outline methodology, results, and proposals.
- Analytical, independent, highly energized, good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and good leadership qualities.
- Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
