Mechanical Piping Inspector

Scope of Works:

1. Read and familiarize project AFC drawings, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings and applicable international codes and standards, such as ASTM, ASME B31.1 & B31.3 and API 570, API 5L;
2. Develop QC Inspection package for the area/scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval;
3. Perform/witness quality inspection, testing and surveillance (materials receiving, fabrication, installation & testing) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by immediate supervisor;

Qualification/Skills:

1. Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in relevant disciplines.
2. 2-8 years of working experience in oil and gas.
3. Inspection and Testing techniques.
4. Piping design requirements.
5. COMPANY Technical Standards (PTS).
6. Codes and Specifications: ASTM, ASME II, ASME B31.1 & B31.3, API 5L, API 570.
7. Read and interpret P&ID, Isometric and other construction drawings.
8. CSWIP Level 3.1/3.2 by The Welding Institute (TWI).
9. API 570.
