Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment)

We have consulted and worked with a multitude of industries namely Palm Oil Refineries, Palm Oil Mills, Oleochemicals, Food & Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Steam & Thermal Oil Boiler Applications, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Water Treatments, Shipyards and General Industries to successfully cater to their valve requirements.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent service delivery, supporting effective communication, and maintaining documentation accuracy. You will also be involved in various aspects of mechanical equipment servicing, working closely with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed servicing reports and ensure proper documentation and traceability of all technical drawings and documents.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as the main point of contact for work performed.
• Collaborate effectively with the internal sales and operations teams to promote positive customer relations.
• Participate in internal and customer meetings, providing input and following up with action plans as needed.
• Receive basic in-house training to familiarize yourself with our equipment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Key Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Strong technical report writing skills.
• Solid mechanical knowledge, particularly in rotating equipment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Soft Skills:

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.

Education & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
