Purpose of the position

• To be the technical key person between the Sales/Customer and Operations
• To develop and prepare engineering drawings/BOM for manufacturing according to the needs of the Customer
• Part of Operations Team in working towards project delivery and quality commitments

• Design/develop according to customer requirements
• Prepare design approval drawings and/or proposal to Sales/Customer
• Prepare and release engineering BOM and design/drawings for manufacturing
• Review Technical Specifications provided by Sales
• Technical discussions with Project Leader, Product Support, Sales
• Manage multiple concurrent assignments to meet established deadlines
• Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure manufacturing activities are aligned to achieve delivery targets
• Evaluate product performance based on customer satisfaction together with relevant departments
• Contribute towards continual improvement towards customer satisfaction
• Work under guidance from a senior member of the team to develop design thinking, project skills and knowledge of the organisation’s quality policy

• A relevant Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline.

• Minimum 1 year of applicable working experience with relevant mechanical design work
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

• Relevant experience on design tools like Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault etc.
• Understanding of industrial standards related to machinery, hydraulics and structural
• Self initiative.

• Write a professional technical report.
• Good technical analysis
• Work independently to complete given assignments and tasks
• Problem solving attitude
