MECHANICAL ENGINEER

About the role
Vekan Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, an automotive component manufacturing company located in Port Klang, Selangor, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a full-time Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of our state-of-the-art equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements and specifications
• Conducting performance tests and analyses to ensure the efficiency and reliability of mechanical systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Preparing detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation
• Providing technical support and guidance to production and maintenance teams
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry
• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software and analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
