Designing, developing, modifying, building, and testing the manufacturing plant machinery, infrastructure, and tooling to meet processes that operate effectively, maximize efficiency, and ensure safety.
Involved in the production machine tool and plant facilities performance monitoring program by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to ensure the effectiveness of preventive maintenance and improvement actions.
Work with plant technicians, Quality and HSE committees, and facilities specialists on improvement programs to comply with company policies & objectives, external auditors, and authority requirements.
Participate in the critical facilities and machinery spare parts management system, tracking and controlling the inventory of spare parts at the lowest cost without compromising machine downtime.
Collaborate with other department engineers as part of a continual improvement team related to the facilities department to resolve issues and meet expectations and deadlines at the lowest cost possible.
Team with facilities engineers to supervise the technician team or coordinate with contractors under exceptional circumstances for any urgent work arrangements.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this position.
Willingness to work in standby mode for emergency breakdowns.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Able to communicate in English and Malay.
Experience in using AutoCAD, Solidworks, or 3D Design.
