Mechanical Engineer

About the role

SJ Circle Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Kulim, Kedah. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our mechanical systems and equipment. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our production facilities.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing
• Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production
• Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes
• Continuous improvement plan (CIP) and Product Yield improvements
• To be hands on running machine, such as master in setting and fintunning the machine
• Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• To maintain and improve manufacturing process product quality as well as equipment performance
• Solve all process problems with lean methodologies and GMP
• To ensure machine setting according to products specifications and confirmed to quality requirements by randomly checking the spec set by Sr Technician
• To study and reduce the Labor and factory overhead cost
• To develop work instruction for production line and rework/rescreening instruction
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superior from time to time

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Must be able to write/speak Mandarin as need to work with China team
• Skilled in PLC programming and Automation concept
• Able to troubleshoot technical issues
