Mechanical Engineer

Job Descriptions

1. Oversee the operation of plant machinery and heavy vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
2. Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
3. Attend to breakdowns and monitor and control machinery downtime.
4. Install and set up new machinery as required, ensuring seamless integration into operations.
5. Implement Kaizen initiatives and carry out production line configuration and layout improvements.
6. Monitor and control repair & maintenance (R&M) expenses to optimize costs.
7. Track and manage capital expenditures (CapEx) related to machinery and equipment.
8. Support and participate in 5S, ISO9001/14001 compliance, ABCMS, and others.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Civil or any related field.
2. Experience in the engineering field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
3. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve production issues.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
6. Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
