Job description

To provide support to the M&E manager or project manager for successful project execution.
To liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors, and project engineers on M&E works, issues, and challenges.
To review and comment on consultant's design and tender documents.
To review and comment on contractor's detailed drawings and shop drawings.
To participate in the tendering process and evaluate contractor's performance.
To liaise with consultants/contractors to ensure all M&E works are smoothly implemented.
To assist in resolving any technical matters (design & implementation).
To monitor site progress and prepare monthly report for M&E works.
To conduct joint site valuation for M&E works progress claims.
To attend all design and technical related meetings with consultants.
To produce daily work report and update Project team on works status.
To ensure all M&E works comply with site safety and health regulations.
To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Authority: Qualification:

Candidate with at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

Experience:

Candidate with a minimum of 5 years of structural and infrastructure design experience, preferably in the property development and construction environment.
Candidate with experience in managing and scheduling development projects, as well as identifying quality and cost control on-site, has an added advantage.

Skills:

Candidate who is well-versed in C&S design codes, design standards, C&S design software, and local authorities standards.
Candidate who is familiar with ISO and Conquas 21.
Candidate who is proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Candidate who possesses strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with a good command of spoken and written communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Candidate who is able to work with the M&E team to construct the M&E systems using best practice.

Others:

Candidate must be highly collaborative to work as a team and self-motivated to work independently with minimum supervision.
Candidate must be able to perform in a high-paced and dynamic environment to meet tight deadlines.
