About the role

SPRING POWER SDN BHD is seeking a talented Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bintulu, Sarawak. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems and components, ensuring their efficient and effective operation.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical wiring.
• Conducting in-depth analyses to identify and resolve technical issues, optimise system performance, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as project managers and technicians, to coordinate the integration and installation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Providing technical expertise and support to operational teams, offering guidance on the use and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical and electrical engineering.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proficient in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical wiring.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and identify innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, project management tools, and other relevant engineering software.
