MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate designing in line with architecture drawing of the building as well as elevator specification and within design standards and regulations.
• Ensuring accurate CAD drawings preparation to enable swift feasibility study of manufacturing technology as well as visualization and material interference checking spot and before and after design review.
• Ensuring in time or on time delivery of projects within schedules arranged.
• Providing technical support for all design issues for all phases including production line, elevator mock up line, quality control as well as site installation.
• Maintain and add in new features on auto-generation design tool for improvement on existing design process, worked on design standardization to increase design efficiency.
• Reviewed inquiries from business partners regarding customer special elevator technical specification and shop drawings, providing professional consultation on customized solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and Production Department to optimize design of products. Initiative to push for lowest cost solution whenever possible while maintaining quality and performance of the product.
• Liaise with software & system control team in optimizing equipment/machine performance.
• Execute one or more automation projects in parallel.
• Develop detailed design specifications and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the project timeline and budget is adhered to and all design requirements are specified and delivered.
• Interacting with technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
• Must display initiative and ability to work in small multi-disciplinary teams including Project Managers and Project teams.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year working experience in designing equipment/machinery/jigs and fixtures.
• Required skill(s):
• Proficient in AUTO CAD software and Solidworks.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in the related field is advantageous.
• Hardworking, disciplined, and good working attitude.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work with minimum supervision under tight timelines.
