The opportunity

MOTORS CONFIDENCE(M) SDN BHD (PERODUA SERVICE CENTRE) is seeking an experienced Mechanic and Foreman to join our team in SS 2 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a Mechanic and Foreman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, while also overseeing the work of a team of mechanics.

Foreman

• Salary Min. RM3000

Mechanic

• Salary RM1700

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in a variety of vehicles.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure the smooth operation of vehicles.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of mechanics, ensuring high-quality standards and timely completion of tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics, helping them develop their skills.
• Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance work.
• Collaborate with the parts department to ensure the availability of necessary components.
• Ensure the workshop operates in a safe and efficient manner.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience as a mechanic in the automotive industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis and repair of a wide range of vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, and transmission.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of mechanics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and team members.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to operate various types of vehicles.
