MAXIS FINANCE ANALYST (GL AND REPORTING) - IMMEDIATE HIRING !!

Position: Finance Analyst (GL and Reporting)

Employment Type: 12 Months Contract

Basic Salary: Up to RM 8,800

Job Description:

The GL Reporting role is responsible for overseeing the financial processes at Enterprise Managed Services Sdn Bhd (EMS). This position ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial records while providing key support to group reporting, finance business planning, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of EMS's financial records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial standards and internal policies.

Monthly Financial Closing & Reporting

• Oversee the timely and accurate monthly financial closing for EMS.
• Submit financial reports to the Group Reporting and Finance Business Planning teams.
• Perform in-depth analysis of monthly financial fluctuations and account balances.

Journal Entries Management

• Calculate and post MFRS16 journal entries.
• Process and manage intercompany charges within the Maxis Berhad group.

Cost and Payables Management

• Verify and post various costs and payables, including reseller fees, bonuses, and trade accruals.

Tax Support

• Prepare schedules for income tax and deferred tax submissions to the Tax team.

Fixed Assets Management

• Record fixed asset-related entries, including depreciation, write-offs, and additions.
• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules accordingly.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Address queries and provide support related to EMS financial matters.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities

• Perform other tasks related to EMS financials as required.

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g., MFRS16).
• Proven experience in managing monthly financial closing and performing financial analysis.
• Experience in handling intercompany transactions, cost verification, and tax preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
• Able to start immediately is preferred.
