The New Role

Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining vendor master data. You will also perform the creation and maintenance of master data records in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and rules. Calling vendors for independent verification on the accuracy of data is part of your job scope as well. Besides, you will lead and manage projects, assignments, and process improvement.

Requirements to Succeed

• You possess at least an Advance Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, or Finance. Bachelor’s degree is preferable.
• You should have at least 5 years of working experience in a master data environment, accounts payable, or procurement.
• You should have a clear understanding of Master Data activities and their relationship with the business as well as familiarity with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of master data processes and quality management will be necessary.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Ideally, you should have good project management and follow-up skills, good analytical skills, good communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
• As the job entails working with global business partners, candidates must be able and willing to work outside of normal working hours such as evenings or on shifts.
