Marketing Specialist - Digital & Social Media

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist to strengthen UST’s brand presence in Malaysia through digital marketing, social media engagement, and strategic partnerships. This role will focus on hyperlocal campaigns, event marketing, and LinkedIn-led growth, with potential expansion to Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead LinkedIn marketing efforts, including content creation, engagement campaigns, and community building.
2. Develop localized content (whitepapers, articles, podcasts) to showcase UST’s expertise in AI, cloud, and digital transformation.
3. Organize and promote industry events, webinars, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility.
4. Build relationships with government bodies, universities, and tech partners to drive collaborative opportunities.
5. Execute targeted LinkedIn campaigns to generate high-quality leads and nurture prospects.
6. Represent UST at key industry events to expand professional networks and identify business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

1. 3+ years in digital/social media marketing, preferably in B2B tech or IT services.
2. Strong copywriting and content creation skills for professional audiences.
3. Must know how to use various Gen AI platforms for content development (text & media, PPT’s).
4. Familiarity with Malaysia’s tech ecosystem (government initiatives, universities, enterprise clients).
5. Self-motivated, data-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
