The incumbent is responsible for Marketing activities for Legrand Power Distribution and Energy Transition strategic pillar, for SEA area, working in close relationship with Legrand SBUs, and Legrand local SEA subsidiaries.
Products Scope: Low Voltage Switchboard, Power Busbar, Cast Resin Transformer, UPS, Cable management.
Segment scope: B2B. Power distribution solution and cable management for large buildings (office, healthcare, multi-residential, industry…) and for grey room DC segment.
Role Responsibilities
Product Management
In close relationship with Marketing SBUs, APMEASA teams and local marketing teams :
- Have an active contribution in the activities related to new products development
- Stay updated on the Legrand group solutions
- Be the point of contact and the referent for SEA in the pre launches projects phase, provide consolidated view of the ambitions, and highlight local/SEA needs required to meet them
- Provide active support to local subsidiaries in the launching phase
- Follow up closely the post launch state of advancement
Marketing Management
In close relation with local Marketing, Communication and Sales teams :
- Provide active support regarding any marketing activities in relation to his/her allocated product portfolio / strategic pillar
- Lead and/or be involved in potential marketing surveys, business plan, at local and SEA level
- Ensure reliable, efficient, and updated portfolio and set of sales tools, including digital content
- Provide support for dedicated events, internal or external, like exhibitions, seminar, etc..
- In relation with APMEASA and SBUs, manage local team training on products portfolio
Marketing Strategy
- Be the expert in his/her product scope in terms of market vision, positioning, segmentation, trends, competitive activities, local needs, etc.
- While highlighting local specificities, define global strategic axes and overall development priorities
- Provide a comprehensive and consolidated vision in terms of geographic and product footprints, customer typologies, strategic priorities, key initiatives, opportunities, threats, performance, objectives, etc…
- Play a key role in the preparation of key annual pre-budget and budget activities.
- Monitor and update the medium-term plan on his/her allocated strategic pillar
Role Requirements
- Postgrad diploma in Engineering, Sciences or Business School
- Minimum 5 years’ direct experience Marketing Management
- Experience on technical solutions in B2B environment will be an strong asset
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) is a must have
- Creative and highly driven
- Independent, mature and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Pro-active and engaging personality
- Well-versed in MS Office (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Able to travel within Southeast Asia
