Job description

Job Summary: The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives to elevate brand awareness, drive customer traffic, and foster sales growth. This role will leverage marketing expertise to manage campaigns, analyze market trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the achievement of key business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both digital and offline marketing, with an innovative mindset to push the brand forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Marketing Strategies:
    • Create annual marketing plans based on market analysis and company objectives.
    • Plan and execute online and offline marketing activities, including promotions, advertising, PR, and social media campaigns.
  2. Social Media & Content Marketing:
    • Strategically plan, create, and implement engaging content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, and TikTok.
    • Develop and manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent content posting.
    • Analyze social media performance using data insights and refine strategies to maximize engagement.
    • Collaborate with designers and videographers to produce high-quality visual and video content.
    • Monitor trends and actively engage with online communities to strengthen brand interaction and loyalty.
  3. Marketing Campaigns & Promotions:
    • Contribute to the planning, execution, and optimization of both online and offline marketing campaigns.
    • Develop compelling promotional materials, conceptualize event ideas, and initiate strategic brand partnerships.
    • Evaluate campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  4. Brand & Market Research:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify key consumer trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities.
    • Ensure marketing materials and content align with the established brand positioning and voice.
    • Proactively identify and implement innovative approaches to enhance brand presence and engage with target audiences.
  5. Digital Advertising & Performance Marketing:
    • Assist in the management of paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms, including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Xiaohongshu Ads, and TikTok Ads, ensuring they align with business objectives.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyzing key metrics to maximize return on investment (ROI).
    • Track and report on marketing KPIs, providing detailed insights and reports for senior management.
  6. Event & Partnership Management:
    • Support the planning and execution of brand events, store promotions, and influencer collaborations.
    • Coordinate with internal and external partners, including brands, media platforms, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), to enhance brand visibility and exposure.
    • Oversee the execution of campaigns and evaluate the success of events to ensure alignment with business goals.
  7. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team goals.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring the marketing team works cohesively to meet objectives.
    • Encourage professional development, training, and career growth for team members.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. At least 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the optical industry.
  3. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques such as social media marketing and email marketing.
  4. Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to independently write marketing copy.
  5. Strong team spirit and project management skills.
  6. Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities, able to adapt and make adjustments in a fast-changing market environment.
