Founded in 1990, Alantic Sports is a well-established distributor in the business of branded footwear and sports apparel. Today, we operate and manage iconic brands such as Crocs, FlipFlop, UGG, CAT, and many more. We have established a strong distribution network in Asia Pacific (primarily the Singapore and Malaysia market).

The role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team at Crocs and FitFlop. As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:
    1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that align with business objectives and target specific customer segments.
    2. Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and trends.
    3. Set marketing goals and KPIs, and create marketing plans and budgets to achieve them.
    4. Monitor and analyze marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  2. Brand Management:
    1. Develop and execute brand-building initiatives to ensure consistent brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all marketing channels.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain brand guidelines and ensure alignment in all brand-related activities.
    3. Manage brand partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships to maximize brand exposure and reach new audiences.
  3. Digital Marketing and E-commerce:
    1. Develop and oversee digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.
    2. Collaborate with the digital team to optimize the company's website, improve user experience, and drive online sales.
    3. Monitor digital marketing metrics and leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve marketing objectives.
  4. Advertising and Promotions:
    1. Plan and execute advertising campaigns across various channels, including print, television, radio, and digital platforms.
    2. Create and implement promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and loyalty programs to drive customer acquisition and retention.
    3. Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, and other vendors to ensure the delivery of effective marketing initiatives.
  5. Product Marketing:
    1. Work closely with the product development team to understand product offerings, market positioning, and customer needs.
    2. Develop and execute product marketing strategies to generate excitement and demand for new product launches.
    3. Collaborate with sales teams to create sales enablement materials and training programs.
  6. Market Research and Analysis:
    1. Conduct market research to identify customer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    2. Analyze consumer behavior, sales data, and marketing analytics to gain insights and make data-driven recommendations.
    3. Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  7. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    1. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and retail operations, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
    3. Effectively communicate marketing strategies, goals, and performance to stakeholders within the organization and to principals.
    4. Highly agile with the ability to work well under pressure.
    5. Attentive to details and results-oriented.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  2. Proven 5 years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on brand management and strategic marketing planning.
  3. Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  4. Experience in digital marketing, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  5. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
  6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  7. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  10. Passion for the Crocs and FitFlop brand and understanding of its target audience.
