We’re looking for a Marketing Executive cum Creative Writer/Copywriter to help Amazing Borneo tell its story through engaging content and innovative campaigns. Bring your creativity, passion for storytelling, and marketing expertise to showcase the magic of Borneo!

Your Role

  1. Creative Writing and Content Creation
    • Craft compelling copy for marketing materials, websites, social media, and promotional campaigns.
    • Write engaging blog posts, articles, and travel guides to highlight Amazing Borneo's experiences and tours.
    • Develop creative taglines, captions, and scripts for advertisements and video content.
  2. Marketing Strategy and Execution
    • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across various platforms.
    • Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies to improve reach and engagement.
    • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement innovative marketing ideas.
  3. Collaboration and Branding
    • Work closely with the creative and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
    • Align all written materials with Amazing Borneo's tone and voice guidelines.
    • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for marketing strategies and creative concepts.
  4. Tools and Techniques
    • Utilize tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms for basic design and content enhancements.
    • Leverage SEO and keyword optimization techniques to ensure content ranks effectively.
    • Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, writing tools, and content strategies to bring fresh ideas to projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, content writing, or copywriting, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in English; proficiency in Malay and/or Chinese is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing trends, SEO, and social media best practices.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in travel, tourism, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
