Job Title: Marketing Director (Immediate - 3-7 March 2025)

Location: Saudagaar Asia Sdn Bhd, Kota Damansara, Selangor
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. This role requires a visionary leader who can oversee marketing campaigns, enhance digital presence, and lead a dynamic team to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand positioning and market share.
  • Define and oversee the company's marketing vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead market research and consumer insights to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
  • Strengthen the company’s brand identity across all marketing channels, including online and offline platforms.

Digital Marketing & Social Media Growth:

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and influencer collaborations.
  • Drive innovative campaigns to increase engagement, followers, and sales on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Monitor digital analytics and adjust strategies to optimize conversion rates and customer retention.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads) for maximum ROI.

E-commerce & Performance Marketing:

  • Lead marketing efforts for e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, TikTok Shop) to drive traffic and sales.
  • Develop targeted promotions, product launches, and sales campaigns to enhance revenue growth.
  • Implement data-driven performance marketing strategies to optimize customer acquisition costs.
  • Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand collaborations.
  • Ensure content strategies are engaging, innovative, and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Supervise the creation of high-quality visual and written content across all digital and traditional platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the marketing team to achieve performance goals and foster a culture of creativity.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Build relationships with external partners, media, influencers, and agencies to expand brand reach.

Budgeting & Performance Analysis:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies with measurable ROI.
  • Track and analyze key marketing KPIs, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize data insights to refine marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in marketing leadership, preferably in digital marketing and e-commerce.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and social media management.
    • Proficiency in data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, etc.).
    • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to drive high-performance marketing campaigns with measurable results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in e-commerce marketing for platforms like Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, and TikTok Shop.
  • Strong network and experience in influencer marketing and brand partnerships.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven marketing tools and automation strategies.
