Job description

A Marketing Digital Specialist is responsible for developing and executing digital strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and increase conversions across various online platforms. Below are the primary responsibilities and authority for the role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Digital Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
  • SEO & SEM: Implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings and manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads) to boost traffic.
  • Social Media Marketing: Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, XHS, etc.) to grow online presence and engage audiences effectively.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content (visuals, videos, and copy) aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track campaign performance metrics (e.g., CTR, ROAS) and provide regular reports with insights for optimization.
  • Email Marketing & Automation: Create email marketing campaigns, manage subscriber lists, and set up automated workflows.
  • Website & Landing Page Optimization: Ensure websites and landing pages are optimized for user experience, performance, and search engine visibility.
  • Data Analytics & Insights: Analyze digital performance data to identify trends and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
  • Influencer & Partnership Collaboration: Coordinate with influencers and brand partners to enhance campaign impact and reach.
  • Budget Management: Monitor campaign budgets to ensure cost-efficiency and effective resource allocation.
  • Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Ad Compliance & Platform Policies: Ensure all digital activities align with platform policies and advertising guidelines.

Role & Authority

  • The Marketing Digital Specialist reports directly to the Marketing Manager and may lead junior executives or interns.
  • The role involves making data-driven recommendations, adjusting campaign strategies within agreed budgets, and proposing new tools or platforms to enhance digital performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing campaigns.
  • Certifications in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO, social media marketing) are a plus.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms to manage customer relationships and lead generation.
