Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
Accountabilities
LEAD and own Maxis Segment Marketing Communications roadmap – includes advertising, digital/content/social marketing, customer & partner engagements (both online and offline) and quarterly A&P budget planning for the identified segment. Must be aligned with key business KPIs across divisions ie product, sales & service, customer service, brand etc.
LEAD: Actionable insights into the segments – deep insights into the communities/niche segments that will lead to fresh value propositions and innovative ways of persuading and reaching identified segments. Insights should be derived from both customer research and data-driven insights (both internal and external data).
SUPPORT Maxis product and sales team via always-on marketing activities that help generate leads, inquiries and walk-ins. Manage marketing to ensure segment-related products are constantly having media exposure and coverage.
SUPPORT key acquisition + base marketing initiatives across segments - marketing strategies must be aligned with business KPIs and data-driven insights to drive acquisition, manage churn and increase ARPU for said segments.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
4-6 years of work experience in any area of brand, marketing, digital
Exceptional ability to translate commercial ambitions into brand goals, strategies and activities
Fluent in Marketing Communications beyond traditional advertising - digital marketing experience is a must. Preferably with some experience in content marketing, content curation and/or content development
A thinker, but also a doer - ability to multitask, chaos-manage and enjoys work in a fast-paced, always-something-new environment.
