Hello from Team W+Co and welcome to our Marketing Team! We are responsible for sharing the
Wanderlust + Co story around the world. Whether it's posting on social media, speaking to media and
bloggers, retail or wholesale consumers, industry commentators or the fashion community, we are the
voice of Wanderlust + Co. We are a fast-growing, high-energy team with a passion for what we do.


As the Marketing & Communications Executive for Wanderlust + Co, you play a key role within the
Marketing Team – creating and executing strategic marketing initiatives for the brand via creative content,
partnerships, media and influencer relations, and strategic plans and activations in line with new product
launches and sale campaigns, ensuring a seamless customer journey across social media, digital and
offline channels.
You will be required to operate creatively and effectively, with creative communication skills, and the
ability to leverage key moments in the fashion calendar / digital and offline fashion space. The right
candidate will be great at thinking outside the box, connecting opportunities to increase brand awareness
whilst driving brand’s identity and retail revenue in the desired direction.


To excel, you should be experienced and love fashion, retail, and social media (Instagram, TikTok,
Facebook, Pinterest etc), enjoy storytelling via campaigns, with acute attention to detail and genuine
interest to be a team player.


Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to) –

  1. 40% - Branding and Social Content Execution
  2. Support marketing team to create fresh content that will grow the business - engaging our online community via interesting and creative marketing, social media and PR moments.
  3. Understand collection stories/campaigns and current social media trends to plan and execute purposeful content, PR ideas across all channels especially Instagram and TikTok, to drive brand awareness, social reach, and funnel quality traffic to site and stores, to positively impact revenue.
  4. Participate in executing brand events and community activations.
  5. Ensure timely marketing execution of tasks across all marketing initiatives, to support the department across general, as well as ad-hoc projects.
  6. Work alongside founder to execute well-planned social stories and content on founder’s personal social accounts to link storytelling back to the brand’s social media channels and website.
  1. 40% - General Marketing Support
  2. Create content and support across social media channels to ensure marketing moments are well represented and shared with our audience, engaging relevant brand partners via social media (Instagram, TikTok, XHS, Facebook, Pinterest, or other relevant social media channels that are key to the brand growth etc) to increase relevance, visibility, engagement and brand awareness.
  3. Be on top of global social media and content marketing trends, initiating conceptualization and execution of exciting and relevant new content ideas that are aligned with brand’s goals and identity.
  4. Work alongside marketing and design team with content/product shoots, lookbooks, and any other visual projects in line with key trends, and the brand’s identity.
  5. Copywriting in line with the brand’s voice and identity (e.g., general social captions, newsletters, blog posts, web copy for products and banners, and press releases).
  6. Working alongside Customer Service team to respond to social media comments in a timely and accurate manner in alignment with brand voice to elevate brand identity and awareness.
  7. Assist in management of PR - brand friends, influencers, KOLs and KOCs for product seeding, general launches and strategic placement in line with brand goals.
  8. Assist across general marketing projects (e.g., offline projects, marketing admin, website management, etc) as per team’s key projects and responsibilities to achieve discussed goals and targets.
  9. Track and report content, PR or event-related analytics to ascertain content engagement levels and conversion rates, to contribute to brand positioning, develop recommendations, optimize and increase conversions via campaigns, digital marketing, eDMs, content strategy or other marketing ideas.
  10. Liaison with collaborators and brand partners, for strategic partnerships and placement in line with brand goals.
  11. Conduct research on current emerging trends in the market, identifying areas for improvement or features that can be translated for brand across all omnichannel mediums - including content, retail stores, website, and latest social and e-commerce platforms (including but not limited to drop ship, wholesale etc).

The following skills will ensure you excel in this role –

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Communications, Marketing or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience within the social media, digital space, fashion, PR and/or content.
  • Excellent command of English and strong writing skills.
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement and sell-through.
  • Quick, strategic, and resourceful – adaptable and able to meet deadlines in an ever-evolving omnichannel space.
  • Be a team player with an open, honest and straightforward style of communication.
  • A keen eye for trends, with skills in social media management.
  • Comfortable with face-to-face communication, and being in front of a camera.
  • A keen eye for design with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator skills, and/or photography / videography experience is a plus.
