Market and Brand Marketing Manager - Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Planning: Design and execute market research plans to support decision-making with reliable data.

Product & Market Development: Prioritize existing product sales, explore new markets, enhance product design, packaging, pricing, and expand sales channels.

New Product Strategy: Set priorities for new products based on research and customer feedback. Manage advertising budgets and provide sales team and distributor training.

Sales Channel Strategy: Select the appropriate sales policies (selective, intensive, exclusive) considering costs, distribution, and market expansion potential.

Pricing Strategy: Develop pricing policies that avoid price wars and include strategic discounts (rebates or price reductions).

Advertising Strategy: Set clear advertising goals to drive consumer awareness, influence behavior, and boost sales.

Sales Capacity & Task Distribution: Monitor team capacity and distribute tasks according to market needs.

Alignment with Company Goals: Ensure sales plans align with production and inventory capacity, focusing on achievable profit goals.

Sales Evaluation: Develop and assess sales plans, checking the feasibility of production, funding, and performance.

Sales Metrics: Track progress with key metrics (sales volume, new customer acquisition, retention, recovery, and payment collection).

Sales Coordination: Ensure sales methods align with company goals, control expenses, and provide product training to distributors.

Meeting Management

Sales Meetings: Organize weekly and monthly meetings to review performance, market conditions, and new product discussions.

Sales Performance Review: Regularly assess stock levels, sales performance, and payment collection.

Sales Training: Continuously train the sales team on techniques and product knowledge.

Market & Product Guidance: Help distributors optimize sales efforts and drive new product sales.

Competitive Analysis: Guide distributors in responding to market trends and competitors.

Product Display & Packaging: Improve product visibility and presentation.

Customer Service Focus: Encourage service quality improvements over price competition.

Inventory & Advertising Management: Support effective inventory control and ensure brand campaigns are executed properly.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing.

Experience: At least 8 years in retail sales, international brand marketing, public relations, sales promotion, or retail operations.

Language Skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin (additional languages are a plus).

Training: Relevant on-the-job training or courses attended.

Personal Traits: Motivated, energetic, focused, committed, and a fast learner.
