Manufacturing Technician (Product & Assembly) - Night Shift

The primary role of the Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble, and pack products. Key deliverables include managing the day-to-day production & planning functions for manufacturing whilst supporting changing demands. Responsibilities include programming, set-up, and monitoring of production equipment/processes and performing assembly operations. Performing quality control checks of incoming and finished goods, ensuring compliance with ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, GMP policies, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• The primary objective of the Manufacturing Technician (PA) specialization within the Production & Assembly Job Family is to provide support for tooling, plant, and equipment in the factory by completing maintenance activities and documenting manufacturing equipment calibration systems.

• Key responsibilities include determining and assisting in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

• Support roles consist of work in a:
  (1) clerical, administrative, or specialized support tasks in an office or field setting.
  (2) specialized technical tasks or skilled craft work.
  (3) unskilled or semi-skilled operational tasks.

• Interacts internally to exchange information.

• Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

• Works independently and likely acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in any maintenance and manufacturing discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

• Has detailed knowledge of procedures and his/her administration, using initiative to handle a wide variety of non-routine situations and conflicts.

• Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
