Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer

• Evaluate manufacturing process based on quality criteria, such as efficiency, productivity, scrap rate, etc.
• Study production process and machine capacity and capability relevant.
• Integrate disparate systems (equipment handling, transport, working tools, man working hour, etc.)
• Optimize facility layout, production lines, and operation performance (effectiveness and efficiency).
• Prepare training materials for new and existing operation workers (WI, SOP, tools handling).
• Develop and implement improvements, cost-saving measures, and quality control standards.
• Ensure manufacturing process, machines, and equipment comply with safety and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with Production department to schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for assigned maintenance services and activities; assign work activities and projects; monitor workflow; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures; identify and resolve problems.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure equipment meets operational standards and is in conformance with DOSH regulations, including access and operations in DOSH appointed web portal.
• Liaise with DOE on factory’s scheduled waste including licensing, and access to DOE appointed web portal.
• Coordinate with TNB for plant shutdown operations, PMA calibration, and any relevant.
• Ad-hoc assignments from Superior from time to time.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Professional certificates/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Degree in Engineering studies.
• HVAC/engineering working environment of minimum 5 years is an advantage to the above role.
• Experienced in manufacturing environment with proven track record in improvement, set standards, project management, etc.
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Well understanding of Safety and Health regulations and practices.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task effectively, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Multi-lingual skills in speaking or writing in Bahasa, Chinese, and English.
• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, AutoCAD.
