Manufacturing Engineer

(A) Qualifications

Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Skills: Familiar with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).

Work Experience: Experience in related field will be an added advantage.

Other Job Requirements:

1. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
2. Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
3. Responsible, reliable, creative, innovative, strong team player, dedicated and committed, analytical, and possess strong leadership qualities.

(B) Responsibilities

• Maintain & troubleshoot any technical problems in the production line.
• Improve production efficiency by planning and analyzing process performance, workflow, capacity, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Handle & follow up on product ECN/DN.
• Handle products from other sites to Malaysia in the areas of detailed parts drawing, assembly drawing, and preparation of Bill of Materials, etc.
• Carry out any other responsibilities as assigned by Superior/Management.
• Train and supervise production operators in performing their daily work tasks to achieve targets.
• Ensure all production activities and processes comply with ISO standards and mandatory regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping, safety, and hygiene practices.
• Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for smooth operation and continuous running to meet customer delivery.
• Be responsible for capacity, productivity, and quality control of any products from the production line.
• Evaluate processes by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, and conferring with the requirements from vendors.
• Plan manpower efficiently to achieve labor efficiency and productivity.
