Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
You will own the form, fit and function of HP Print-heads and will provide engineering resolutions to product/manufacturing issues. You will implement a strong Product Quality System across the value chain, driving Product Qualification/Change Management processes.

Responsibilities

1. Provide resolution and implement engineering solution to product/manufacturing issue
2. Engage R&D and Product Development to enable New Product Introductions and Extensions
3. Identify the risks early in the program and determine the test methods needed to characterize the product to ensure we meet the end-customer needs. This is especially true in any product or process NUD’s.
4. Throughout the program, characterize the product to ensure we understand the risks and what it would take to address the risks.
5. Drive Product Qualification processes.
6. Drive and implement strong Product Quality System.
7. Own the form, fit and function of HP Printhead and drive Change Management.
8. Engage and drive solutions across HP value chains team such as Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Tech Support as well as Production, to improve Manufacturing Line Productivity, Yield and Quality.
9. Conceptualize, Develop and Deliver solutions to simplify Processes and deliver Cost Reduction out of the Operations.

Education & Experience Recommended

1. Graduate Degree in Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
2. Possess good understanding of manufacturing processes, methodologies and environment, preferably have the experience working in a fast pace and high-volume electronics product manufacturing environment.
3. Strong leadership and organization skills.
4. Able to work well under Stress, both internally and across functions.
5. Fast learner, Proactive and Self driven character.
6. Technically inclined and Hands-on personality.
7. Fluent in English both spoken and written.
8. Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving and Project Management skills.
9. Excellent team player, interpersonal and communication skill.
