About the role

Pusat Tuisyen Cikgu Hajar is seeking a passionate and experienced Mandarin Tutor to join our team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan on a part-time basis. As a Mandarin Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language instruction to primary school students, helping them develop their proficiency in this important language.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering engaging and interactive Mandarin lessons to primary school students
• Developing customised lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to the diverse needs of your students
• Assessing student progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their learning goals
• Collaborating with parents and guardians to support the academic and personal growth of your students
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
• Participating in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Mandarin, Education, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mandarin to primary school students
• Excellent command of the Mandarin language, both written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
• Creativity and adaptability in designing and delivering lesson plans
• Passion for education and a genuine commitment to the academic and personal growth of your students
