1 - Job Responsibilities- (Manager, Account):
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- accounts payable/receivable
- month and end-year process
- cash receipts
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- treasury, budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- capital assets reconciliations
- bank reconciliations
- check runs
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity
- inventory control
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Provide recommendations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Liaison for audit and tax matters.
Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data effectively.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- ACCA qualification is preferred.
2 - Job Responsibilities - (Assistant Manager, Account Payable):
- Supervise Accounts Payable Team: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolve payment discrepancies, and manage payment schedules.
- Contract Compliance: Review and ensure invoices meet contract terms, payment schedules, and pricing.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting, ensuring accurate AP accruals and documentation.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to streamline the accounts payable process.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax laws, industry regulations, and corporate policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in accounts payable, with 2+ years in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction or EPC industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Autocount, etc).
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction project accounting principles and vendor management.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint) is a plus.
3 - Job Responsibilities - (Assistant Manager, Consolidation & Reporting):
- Group Financial Consolidation: Execute the group financial consolidation process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
- Intercompany Reconciliation: Manage and ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany transactions to facilitate seamless financial consolidation.
- Monthly Group Management Reporting: Prepare and present detailed weekly management reports that provide insights into group financial performance, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
- Cash Management & Projections: Oversee cash management processes and prepare monthly cash flow projections, forecast liquidity needs, and monitor cash balances across group entities.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing group-wide budgets and forecasts, collaborating closely with finance teams across different entities.
- Audit and Compliance Support: Prepare consolidated financial statements and provide support for both internal and external audits.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as management requests to support strategic decision-making.
- ERP & Accounting System: Participate in designing, implementing, and enhancing the Group's accounting system, ensuring it meets the organisation's evolving needs.
Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the accounting & finance field and a minimum of 3 years of assistant manager working experience of proven experience in group financial reporting and accounts consolidation, preferably within the construction industries.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial consolidation processes.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential, as this role involves communicating with Chinese counterparts.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial reporting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
