Manager, Warehouse Operations

Accountable and responsible for the smooth and efficient operation in the warehouse and its development capabilities to achieve optimization and proper maintenance of the overall logistics or distribution solution initiatives while maximizing our service levels.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure operations are running ethically for all its business practices by collaborating with customers, government bodies, all stakeholders and employees.
2. Create, control and execute plans for continuous improvement to achieve organisation’s goals across organisation.
3. Build high performance team and leadership through mentoring, cultivating and distributing talents throughout the organisation’s networks.
4. Ensure process excellence by leading process improvement methodologies, monitoring performance improvement efforts and aligning process capabilities for organisation’s objectives to achieve competitive advantage.
5. Achieves financial objectives for budget preparation; expenditures, analyse variances and corrective actions.
6. Preparation and conduct analysis reporting, critical assessment of all budgets and cost projection, forecasts and reporting for the management.
7. Continuously providing cost savings measures with measurable objectives and goals.
8. Initiate cost savings measures for warehouse operation optimization.
9. Ensure compliance for all internal or external audit and incident investigation within the stipulated time frame.
10. Safeguards, monitors and ensure compliance for Health, safety and security of the entire warehouse vicinity. Ensure that the overall facilities maintenance in the warehouse are properly maintained and well-kept.
11. Ensure and collaborate with Safety & Compliance team for equipment and facility maintenance.
12. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by ensuring and monitor security procedures and protocols.
13. Manage team engagement with all stakeholders.
14. Continuously improve processes to positively impact our DC engagement with all stakeholders, fraud, cost reduction, operation methods, system and technology.
15. Plan, control and monitor all aspects of inventory management and ensure appropriate reporting to maintain optimum inventory management.
16. Ensure and responsible for continuous improvement to positively impact the team for good customer service, fraud, cost control, operating methodology, systems, processes and technology.
17. Lead by example by displaying a professional behaviors and mentoring skill for expectation to the team.
18. Accountable/responsible for update on all logistics data timely and submission of monthly dashboard and reporting.
19. Collaborate with Logistics and Supply Chain teams to enhance process improvement.
20. Perform jobs and tasks assigned by the management or superior as deem fit and when required.
21. Must be able to work on shift when required.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics or related field or equivalent.
2. Possess more than 10 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics or warehouse operations.
3. Capable of leading a team of multi and diverse team. This person needs to be hands on and adapt to work dynamics.
4. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and its best practices.
5. Strong knowledge for Key performance indicators, especially for warehouse management.
6. System knowledge either SAP or WMS and Automation.
7. Must be proficient in using WMS. Able to troubleshoot and the know-how to reconfigure WMS and to achieve WMS optimization.
8. Warehouse Automation capabilities. Will be an added advantage if candidate possesses experiences in setting up and manage logistics automation technology.
9. Strong analytical skill, problem solving and communication skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as a team to meet goals and objectives.
11. Proficiency in MS office (MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
