About Us:

In today's dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Finance team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Finance Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate-Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for the direct and indirect tax processes and daily operations for the South ASEAN Hub (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei & Indonesia), providing related consultation for the organization, customers, vendors, and CP employees.

What you will do

1. Management of local tax charge and control over tax accounting for direct and indirect taxes effectively and efficiently.
2. Setting procedures, controls and documentations for tax compliance. Ensure that all tax compliances are met on a timely basis.
3. Preparation of tax returns and attending to tax audits/queries from relevant authorities.
4. Reporting to parent company/COE-Tax on various tax-related matters including Management Tax Computations for Budget & LEs, Tax books, and FTCQ.
5. Ensuring target margin for all of hub entities is in accordance to local Transfer Pricing Guidelines and Tax Structure.
6. Initiate and drive tax planning ideas for an overall reduction in effective tax rates for the hub.
7. Establish partnerships and maintain relationships with multiple parties, including internal cross-functional teams and local advisors and authorities.
8. Take the lead in providing advice to businesses on all tax matters.
9. Simplify work processes without compromising on compliance.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
11. Complies with all policies and standards.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
2. At least 4-7 years of diversified financial experience.
3. Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Excellent analytics and problem solving skills.
6. Possess strong grasp on tax regulations and continuously stay abreast of changes in tax regulations within hub countries and subsequently able to set relevant cadence on tax matters.
