Join us as Manager - Talent Acquisition, where you’ll lead recruitment strategies, drive meaningful onboarding experiences, and champion Changing Lives Together (CLT) initiative to create a positive difference!
What you’ll do:
1. Recruitment
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for Head Office positions and Operations Management roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Support recruitment strategy and overall manpower plan and ensure quality pipeline of candidates.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, referrals, and partnerships with institutions.
- Partner with HR Business Partner to support regional recruitment needs.
- Conduct active and passive candidates searches via multiple sources including cold-calling, Nando’s career page, job portals, and employee referrals program.
- Sourcing, screening, interviewing and evaluating applicants, managing and facilitating the interview process.
- Draft job descriptions and post on the relevant sourcing channels.
- Support talent planning and talent review process across Head Office and Restaurant.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and team dynamics.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
2. Onboarding
- Manage and coordinate onboarding processes for Head Office and Operations Management hires.
- Facilitate orientation sessions and ensure new employees have the tools, resources, and knowledge needed for a smooth transition into their roles.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to continuously improve onboarding workflows and engagement.
3. Reporting & Tracking
- Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Prepare regular reports on hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, quality of hire, and diversity metrics.
- Track and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
4. Changing Lives Together Hiring Initiative (XO Hiring & Management)
- Lead the implementation of hiring programs for individuals with disabilities (XO) to support inclusivity and diversity goals.
- Build relationships with external organizations, government agencies, and NGOs to drive XO hiring efforts.
- Ensure that hired XO employees receive adequate support, training, and resources for success in their roles.
- Track progress and provide regular updates on CLT hiring initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end recruitment processes and teams.
- Strong expertise in recruitment strategies, tools, and platforms, with knowledge of employer branding and talent market trends.
- Experience in developing and executing recruitment strategies, preferably in corporate, operations, or fast-paced industries like retail or hospitality.
- Familiarity with diversity hiring practices, including XO hiring, and a passion for promoting equity and inclusion.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software for data management and reporting.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is an advantage.
- A collaborative, proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
