Role Specific Deliverables
Lead the development and implementation of required global standards within sustainability.
Provide governance risk and opportunity matters to the Group Chief Safety and Sustainability Officer for inclusion to Board and Risk Management subcommittees.
Lead processes to provide attestation of HSE obligations across SDB, all Divisions and Business Units.
Advise stakeholders of Sustainability legislative risk and compliance requirements through the provision of training and documented processes.
Support the development of the sustainability strategy for SDB, through materiality assessment reviews, standards and Bursa Listing compliance to development of divisional and business unit sustainability KPIs.
Provide support, including management of the rollout and implementation of Safety & Sustainability systems and standards across SDB, Divisions and Business Units.
Support the Executive Manager Strategy and Sustainability in the implementation of Sustainability risk management processes in SDB to meet requirements, including establishing frameworks, monitoring and review activities and periodic reporting through Executive and Board.
Support the development and implementation of the safety and sustainability strategy in SDB and subsidiary businesses.
Manage accurate HSE reporting across SDB, Divisions and Business Units.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Minimum bachelor's degree level qualifications in Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability related disciplines.
Minimum seven years’ experience in a Sustainability risk/compliance and/or governance leadership position.
Lead auditor in HSE Management Systems.
Extensive knowledge and experience in Sustainability and HSE legislation and standards, policies and procedures with solid knowledge in ESG relevant legislation in diverse, multi-geographic organizations (preferably in mining, heavy equipment or Automotive industries).
Experience managing and implementing Global Standards across multifunctional aspects of business operations.
Prior working experience with regulatory and standards agencies.
