Overview

The Manager, Supply Planning role is responsible for synchronizing demand and supply around certain product categories or specified SKU portfolios. This person acts as the primary contact, bridging the distributor and Production Planners at production facilities (CP and Contract manufacturers) and responsible for translation of the demand plan into inventory requirements within the supply network while optimizing customer service and carrying costs.

What you will do

1. Balancing Demand and Supply – Executes daily/weekly/monthly planning cycle priorities ensuring product availability at DC’s, right-sized inventory levels, and synchronization of new product introduction and sourcing transitions.
2. Demand plan collaboration with Commercial Team and distributor.
3. Sustain demand plan accuracy in system planning with right assumptions.
4. Shipments – Work closely with supplying country to ensure on-time shipment documentation with full compliance. Work closely with forwarding agent to ensure on-time custom clearance and delivery to distributor.
5. Balance of Service vs Cost – Optimizes customer service at the minimum cost level.
6. Supply Resolution – Utilizes system alerts to identify and resolve supply shortages/overstocks.
7. Data Analytics – Uses supply chain data and tools to drive information-based decisions.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives – Develops and implements best practices related to finished goods replenishment, inventory management, system utilization, and review planning parameters.
9. Collaboration – Identify and close gaps with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Transportation, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Service to achieve efficient, cost-effective supply planning in meeting CS&L service and cost goals/KPIs and improving supplier responsiveness.
10. System/Process Development - Executes "Best Practice" supply planning processes identified by leadership to maximize customer service, minimize cost, and optimize inventory.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration; B.S. in Engineering, Finance, Logistics or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 4 years experience in Supply Planning in Consumer Goods or Manufacturing.

Strong technical knowledge and experience with SAP/APO/PPDS/IBP tools required.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in operations management.
2. Experience in systems configuration and maintenance.
3. Basic knowledge of SAP & APO.
4. Strong computer literacy (particularly in Microsoft Excel, with competency in pivot tables and macro functionality).
5. Ensure the business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges.
